This project covered the upgrade of the existing Pump Station “S” and the construction of a new pumping station ‘Sn’ to serve the catchment area.
The scope of work also covered the construction of rising mains from the new pumping station and other related existing pumping stations, to the proposed pump station, located near Kensington Avenue Road.
The twin rising mains extended from a breached access road to Kensington Avenue Road, along an existing DEWA corridor for a total length of 21 km, with additional rising mains connection from existing Pump Stations S to the DS 164 rising mains for a total length of 2.3km. The new sewerage facilities for this DS 164 project also included a gravity sewer trunk line varying in diameters from 2,000mm to 2,400mm, with a total length of 2.3km.

The scope of work included; sewerage system, TSE/ Irrigation Water, Potable Water, Fire Main. The sewerage comprised a network of approximately 12km of network, ei pipe work, manhole, chambers, discharge, washout chambers, pumping stations (4,) associated valve chambers (4) and MCC panels.
Construction of new Roadways, Parking areas, Side walks, Storm Water Drainage, Sewerage Network, Water Supply Network, Power Supply Network, Road Lighting, Telecommunication Network, Utility Relocation and/or Protection, Landscape works and other related construction.
